One Lap Around Lake Travis 2013

Where: Texas Cyclesport, 13505 Fitzhugh Rd(map)
When: Sat April 27 2013 at 6:30 a.m.
$60.00

Important - Route Change

Due to conflict with HITS Triathlon in Marble Falls, bridge construction and the lake levels, we are forced to alter the route. The good news is we still have an excellent 126 mile route on the south side of the lake. We can also now offer a shorter 60 mile route.

GPX files are available for the 126 mile route and the 60 mile route

About the ride

Relay Option

If you are interested in participating in a relay with another riders, all riders must be registered.

We suggest each team drive along side the rider on the road and switch riders at the designated rest stops. This allows for switching riders more often if desired.

How fast do I need to go?

We get this question a lot. The ride starts at 6:30am and we're going to start sweeping the course at 5pm. If doing the full distance, you should plan on finishing in less than about 11 hours. That means you have to average, including stops, 11 mph.

Ride support

Stops will be spaced about 20 miles apart & will have water, something sweet and something salty. We will also have SAG wagons on route to provide aid. We'll try to have something different at each stop, with rumors of bacon, and Little Debby snacks.

Post ride food & beer

Most definitely. We'll have a vegetarian option, if you have other dietary concerns, shoot us an email.

Parking

Parking will be provided at Texas Cyclesport and the Stunt Ranch. Please carshare.
